My boyfriend said that during his exams, when he was younger, he would suddenly gain this crazy interest in the encyclopedia and would skim right through it.
Same with me right now.
I have my finals going on, which after I'm a free bird, in a not-so-free world, and I should be studying so I can get something called a 'decent job' one day, but everything else is so much more interesting!

Lol, one of the reasons I grew up with an interest in Science (especially physics) was that I used to read encyclopedias at home when I was bored. =)
No wikipedia, either .. Good old 1985 edition of the World Book Encyclopedia. ^_^
Yeah, I used to read the 1995 (or was it 92?) version, along with Childcraft and Young Scientist.
That door-to-door book salesman must've sold my parents the whole show!
Yes, for some reason I remember it being a door-to-door salesman, I don't know why.
