[This doesn't mean guys aren't like the following examples, it's just that I'm focusing on the larger population]
When I first met my boyfriend, who is a hardcore metal head, I told him that I listen to Opeth. Now, let's be clear about this fact- I have heard one song of this band Opeth and it was honestly too loud for me.
The reason why I told him this however, was because I wanted to impress him by having the same likes as him.
It's quite sad I know, but it worked then ...
Regardless, why did I do that? Why was I not comfortable just telling him who I really was, and the screamo/emo music I listened to? Maybe because I was afraid of what he'd think ... or he'd like me less.
Girls are like that ...99% of them. Maybe not as extreme, though they are a few special cases, but some are minor like me.
Most girls always pretend to be someone else because it makes them look cooler and therefore sound more awesome to new people.
There are a couple of particular subjects which I have seen girls trying to get as acquainted with as possible... and which is just honestly, plain sad.
1) Sports. Face it... unless being a legend is written in your destiny, your 'trash sport talk about every other football league and last night's scores' hold's no relevance and importance to guys.
2) Gaming. Yes, you want people to believe that after a hard day at work, and in between constant bitching sessions with your best friends about the girl next door and the latest trends, you not only have time to game but love it. You like the action involved, the plot, the graphics and game design ... and let's not forget what most games have today- the cuss words which are degrading to women.
GTA guy screwing a whore and then killing her ring a bell? I'm not against it at all, I'm just saying it's not an average girl's cup of tea is all.
3) Other women. Ah yes, the 'I think her ass is so hot' and 'I'm so attracted to other women' talk out-loud. Hmmm... does that make you sound like a cooler girl friend? Or let alone an open minded, 21st century female? Yeah, No ... not really.
It makes you sound like your trying to be okay with it... but at the back of your mind your honestly so sad that your boyfriend agrees with you that the ass of the girl in front of you, in the check out line, is better than yours.
I might sound too narrow minded and pretentious about the fact that girls are like 'this' when I, in fact, am a girl (no really! I am!!) ... but women are confusing... and moreover, they are EFFNG confused!
Bleh.

Hey!
Reduce the percentage! Not 99, cmon maybe 75....I trash talk other teams, and talk about last night's scores but my bf doesn't like the team I support and neither have any of my previous bf's and neither does he watch football anymore at all.I still do whenever I can.
Does that make me sad ?
Why are you so angry in this post?
And why are you pin-pointing out things you've done as well and calling every other girl 'sad'?
Yes I definately appreciate other women's goods looks but again I don't do that to impress my bf, and you know as well as I do, he adores me more than anything and wouldn't agree with me on the hotness of some other chick. But I still think some women do deserve some praise. It's not easy pruning yourself to look a certain way all the time. It may be effortless beauty to some, natural to others, unentertaining to the rest but I mean we're all entitled to our own appearance and getting compliments right.
Did something in your day affect you that made you write this post?
p.s- sorry I haven't commented in a while.
Im glad you're still at this
Umm... you do know I'm NOT talking about you right?
And I did mention right in the beginning that I do, do stuff just not the extent that most girls do it. And I said most girls were sad, not every other girl... maybe you aren't one of them!
Do read my post completely and properly before you comment on it?
PS- I'm glad you still read this whenever your bored =) <3
