Traditionalism

You know, it's rather funny the way things turn out. As life goes by, and birthdays keep on coming, you want to grow up and grow older and do 'adult stuff'. Like throw your party in a club, or reek of alcohol when your under age so that you wake up beneath a couch, with some stinky guy (and/or girl) and you have no idea how you got there (I'd never be caught dead doing any of this stuff)... and other stuff that would be 'deemed cool', as one's age increased.
Hmm, not me. I'm quite the traditional in most aspects. Arcade for a date rather than going dancing ... the beach rather than a party after graduation? I don't know, maybe it's because I'm mostly mellow ...

Regardless, going through some FB pictures, I noticed that traditional birthdays, with the best friends, are the most fun after all. Grab a couple of BFF's and sit them in a pizza joint, order away to galore and eat and talk and talk and eat ... It's festive, it's personal ... and there's no pressure.

Ah. I feel like... as you get older, you should do things that younger people do. It's the only way to stay young and face it ... your young only once (mostly).
