Ragging

So, here we are, finishing our second year in college, and you would have thought the ragging would have stopped, but apparently not.
People find the need to demean and playfully hurt those younger than them, or their juniors you could say, in order to feel more in power.
Pathetic.

Now this is a personal opinion, ragging may be a way of college life, but personally, I don't think it's necessary. All that crap they tell you, 'Oh, you'll remember it, and laugh about it later,'... is undoubtedly bullshit. Cause trust me, life is much more HA HA without moments like this.
So ragging might be a personal opinion, but I feel it's just a way of broadcasting whos boss. It's another way of saying, 'Look at me, I can order people around and make them feel little and laugh at them, and they can't do shit. That's how strong I AM!'
But really, without moments like these, I'm sure raggers feel little, ashamed and invisible.

And hey, if putting other people down, is a way for ragger to step up, then that's just a personal opinion I guess.
I just think it's pathetic. Did I say that already?
