I just read someone's blog on phride.com and it was really nice...I mean the way the person portayed some of their shit...
In one of their posts, they said,
'Emo isnt about x's all over the page and emo isnt about '<3' this, emo isnt about striped tees and emo isnt about dyed hair parted to the side, emo isnt about eyeliner....'
It's so stupidly <--- (whether thats a word or not) true right? Like from when did dressing up and emoticons match to a genre of simple music?

Like chains and chokers for em' gothic folk?
Dark eyeliner (quite famous must I say?) and black clothing for rockers, exclusively!
Bling-a-ling for rapper and r&b's!

I mean, I remember once, I bought bright purple stocking's and my friend (not a close one) later said, 'Arent you supposed to wear black cause you're a rocker?' And I'm thinking, 'NO! YOU WEIRDO!' I mean the term's emo, goth, rocker, punk, rapper, hip hopper...are all contaminated.

There's seriously no two ways about it ...
And yeah, perhaps my frend is stupid ... <3
