Where would the world be...otherwise?

You know, the other day, i was holding up this 'piece of work' i had done, for one of my computer assignments.. and this gurl walks in and she looks at it, and she says, 'ahan...what's that?'
And i said, 'it's mareena's piece..for our framework..in computers'.
And she makes a weird kinda face.
So i take advantage of the moment, and tell her that I think it sux, personally and it doesnt look like what he wanted at all... mean not evn close... and i asked her what she thot..and she said,
'Honestly...it doesn't look right at all. Honest opinion, no way.'

And i smiled. We indulged in normal conversation for the next 5min, until, i took the piece up again and smiled at her and said, 'I think i've got to chnage this... if he's gonna hate it, and if it doesnt look right, i cnt give my work up'
She was shocked and moreover embaressed.
'Sorry' she said, totally flushed, ' i didnt know it was yours.'


In other words, I'd be honest, only if you werent here. :)
I love this gurl bdw, this is in no way an attack on her... it's just highlighting a way of life... taking the easier way out of situations...doing what would put YOU in a comfortable position, rather than taking the hit/being honest and telling someone they suck.

What if everyone told everyone they sucked, to their faces?
Where would the world be? At an understand level... or at a total, friendly level.

I say none... the world would definately, cease to exist.
