Dr. Phil and Oprah ... What do they in common??
They are both fat, either got a LOT OF HAIR on their head/ or none and have way too much time to spare ...
What's the deal with them anyway?
OFcourse I have watched both... why? Because I've been super bored... I mean it doesnt make sense to me. Apart from satisfying ur boredom what could the answer be for being a loyal viewer?
If your answer is 'to gain knowledge or be aware of things you havent really thought about before ...' then that's only part right. How many time's have you stuck on to watching oprah when some poor person, who looked pathetic and had 200 million problems ( starting with his/her spouse cheating on them more than 15 times with various different women) WAS NOT ON? Yeah, i repeat... when a vicitim wasnt on..? What if Oprah Or Philly just sat there, all alone and spoke...? Okay... or a disabled child and his heroic survival ..from some disease.. it's touching, I TOTALLY agree... but then what? It's like a scam to gain more viewership!
Borrrrrrring right? Exactly what I'm saying. Watching other people's crazy, out of this world, idiotic problems gives us some sort of a thrill... a sick kind of, time pass thrill.
If you say you watch it because 'you gain some answers...' then your obviously stupid. No, i think it's stupid that people go one shows like this to discuss what the hell is wrong in their family life or career just to find out how to fix what's wrong. Here's a hint: GET A COUNSELLER! or better yet, sit in a corner with your head between ur knees and wish really hard so that you dissappear!
Why would you find out the answer's to question's you prolly already know the answer to?
Ofcourse, when Dr. Phil is talking bout giving back to the community, or Oprah is going on about the 'angel foundation' , then you got a reason to sit back and watch. It deals with so much and i can be honest and say .. i think i've cried ..
Maybe I'm being harsh cause im extremely bored ... but there's an extent to which it's true..

hahah you are spot on about Dr.Phil -it's just a scam to gain viewership in fact, sometimes I wonder if people do that stuff thinking 'hey this will get me on Dr. Phil tmm night' hahaha really!
anyways, when it comes to Oprah- I can't quite agree. Sometimes she is extremely boring, other times she is inspiring and other time informative.. and the womans done a lot to accomplish all the things she has so I for one totally respect her.
But ofcourse that's just my take on it :)
