You do know why they have thanksgiving and Christmas and Diwali and all that don't you? Cause we're all celebrating something, we truly believe in ... like a feast or religious festival after someone we believed in ... someone religous or something like that ...
How many of us knew that a St. Valentines existed? [This is a rhetoric question]
Well, i may be realli dum... but i didnt know at all...the entire concept of valentines day is lost on me and i dont see the point really. yes i do date...and i do have a good time making a big deal/fussing over the opposite sex but hey! why onli on valentines day? why shouldnt it be forever? like everyday?
Valentines Day is supposed to be a day filled with love and kisses, hugs and warmth.. but im saying, hell no! It's supposed to be like that everyday of your life...well your supposed to make that same effort that you make on v'day...every breathing day of your life! I dont want roses from my boyfriend onli on valentines day! i want his randomn loving gestures every day! I mean how ironic, if we're bitching bout each other today, and on Feb the fuckin 14th...we're sooo dam happi we're in each others arms...and then again, the next day i'm like 'DIE YOUR FRIGGIN PIECE OF SHIT' It's not supposed to be that way...
And how about when your all alone? got no one to celebrate it with ? doesnt it make you feel like shit? well yeah, it wudnt if you have a fuckin ego problem and you believed that you were alone cause no body was good enough for you! but otherwise... i mean, you'd feel pathetic!
Valentines Day is not for me! Well i just read Mareena's post and that reminded me.. it's true what she says!! in college we're gonna be surrounded by desi motherfuckers, rockers and emo chix galore..people like us!! givin out flowers and shy-ing away in corners, making out, wearin red [i'm not gonna'] and saying OMG I LOVE THIS DAY BABY!! THANK YOU FOR MAKIN IT SPECIAL. if i see any guy go down on one knee, mareena and i are gnna throw him [well, try] to put him down on both knees and elbows and kick his sorry, mushy ass to hell.

After having been in two relationships, one serious and lasting for almost two years, I have yet to receive the first Valentine of my life.
Although I'm not a fan of the day myself, for once I'd just like to feel a little special than I do most other days.
Well, 'special' is relative, I guess.
